i keep having this error 

[FreeTDS][SQL Server]Unable to connect: Adaptive Server is unavailable or does not exist

[FreeTDS][SQL Server]Unable to connect to data source


i have Navicat premium


- using it on Mac os x

- want to use Sql server

- havent made a server yet


what can i do about it

Ya know ... after 10 months, I would have expected that a saavy Navicat employee would have answered this question.  I am having the same issue and if this does not connect, Navicat Premium will loose out in the development tools.

Doesn't Navicat monitor this forum and provide answers?
